Benefits of using incense

We use incense to add depth to our therapeutic spaces and practices. Intention is everything to us, so when we sit down to meditate, pray, or hold a ceremony, we prepare the space in line with our intentions.

We have also studied spiritual arts from multiple different cultures where burning specific herbs have different benefits to cleanse a space or invite positivity. We have weaved these intentions into our natural incense blends.

Scenting the room with natural fragrance is an easy way to bring attention to the passing of time and the breath. As the burner will eventually burn out the intention has been set to settle into this time as a special container, it creates a finite experience to be enjoyed and treasured.

They dance with Juniper Needles that have been called in to cleanse Native American temples and advance clairvoyant abilities.

This blend is uplifting, hot and passionate, mixed with Dragon’s Blood resin and Water Oil to help you heal and soothe challenging emotions. Light a charcoal disk to ignite your offerings and inhale aliveness.

In many Pagan traditions, the burning of tree resins has been considered a sacred rite, making offerings to the gods. Resins are produced deep inside the tree to protect the plant from infections or heal wounds. It is therefore a substance which symbolises mystery and the internal nature of life; it is considered a protective and magical substance to many native peoples.

Our herbal blends have been designed with love and created in ceremony. When mixing the herbs we imbue them with our prayers, presence, and well wishes for your health and well-being.

  • This is incense is a sacred blend of spiritual traditions from ancient Chinese, Native American, African, and Pagan European practices.

Each ingredient has been carefully chosen as a sacred tool to ward off evil spirits, with supports like Opoponax and Black Storax (that have been traditionally burnt) to restore peace and ignite intuition as you reflect on your personal process. Light a charcoal disc and decide what it’s time to release.

  • Our incense is loose in chips and pieces anointed with essential oils, not a powder, sticks or cones. This is to retain the pure essence of the plant.

You can easily purchase charcoal discs to sprinkle the incense on and you may want to invest in a burner, (if covered it will burn slightly longer), otherwise a bowl or heat proof plate is fine.

Light your charcoal disk and wait to add the incense until most of the disc is dusty white. Any earlier and you may smother it. Sprinkle some incense on the disk and watch the beautiful shapes of the smoke.

  • Our incense blends contain tree resins that expand and melt in a beautiful way. Remember to be present and careful when working with fire.

We believe that incense is a powerful connection to the earth because it journeys with all four elements. From earth products doused with water oil, to fire, to air. And there’s a little water trapped in the resins too.

You may want to work with some feathers to waft the smoke in the direction you’re working with as you say a prayer.

I often find that lighting some incense is a personal practice by itself. It brings me into the moment in a way that pre-made sticks and cones can’t quite touch.
